Spring registration is in progress.
Spring Priority Enrollment starts December 2 2011 (This is for students
currently taking classes)
Spring General Enrollment starts December 5
2011 (This is for new students wanting to take classes)
I am providing a list of the classes that we recommend for our first semester
students, those of you who are already here should talk to your instructor for
recommendations.
As you all know the state budget is in very bad shape once again and the school
will be looking at classes with low
student numbers to close, to save money.
It is very important that you sign up and pay for your classes as soon as
possible. When you sign up for a class you only
have 3 working days to pay for the class, or you will be removed from the
roster, and replaced by someone who is on the
wait list. If you try to sign up for a class and the class is filled, put you
name on the wait list, if the wait list is filled
then show up for the first class and try to get an add code.
DO NOT wait until the first day of class to sign up for class, if you do you may
find that the class has been closed
because of low enrolment, or you may not be able to get an add code because the
class is full.
Another development is the possibility that the school may not allow us to add
students into classes on the first days of
class. Last semester we had to turn away students from the Machine Technology
Program because classes were filled
as of the first day of class.
Here is our recommended class schedule for
the First Semester Students in the Machine Technology Program, if you cannot
take all the classes we recommend at one time then take as many as possible.

Here are the Machine Technology requirements for the Degree and Certificates we offer, please note that most of the certificates require multiple semesters to complete. Degree and Certificates Requirements . Check the Prerequisites, Co requisites and Advisories for each class as stated above.
Please notice that we are offering the Mact 140 Class at night in the Spring 2012 Semester, if you need this class take it as I am not sure if we will offering it again at night in the foreseeable future.

Hello Everyone,
Grades:
I hope you are going to enjoy your time off. Some of you have contacted me on how
to find out what your final grade is for the classes you have completed.
You will have to log into your
E-Grades account to see your final grade. It will take the school some
time before this process is completed.
Certificate Information:
To receive your certificate(s) you need to go to Evaluations in room A-109 to apply. This cannot be completed until after the student has successfully completed the required courses, and has received a "C" or above for a final grade in each class. You have to request the certificates/degree, this is not automatically sent to you.
Check your grades on Reg-E to insure that they have been processed by the school. The instructor is not involved in the issuing of certificates or the degree beyond the requirement of submitting final grades.
The Evaluations Office telephone number is: (619) 388-3466.
Lockers:
Please make sure to take all you things and clean out your
lockers for the winter break. Make sure to take your locks with you also.
